RAIA: Harrison XI, Cuncolim, scored a solitary goal win over Young Boys of Goemchembhatt in the 1st edition of AVCC open invitational 9-a-side football tournament organised by FAVV in memory of Fr Druston Correia, Macduf Monteiro and Fr Nevil Gracias at Velim ground, Thursday.
Vayne Pires of Harrison XI scored the winning goal.
Maklish Pereira was awarded the player-of-the-match award for his outstanding performance.
In the second match, Dandora Boys triumphed over Patshalla Boys Zaino 3-0. Krishna Shirodkar was awarded the player-of-the-match.
