PANJIM: Holy Cross Institute, Cavelossim, excelled in track and field at the 46th State Level Mini/Secondary School Athletics Meet 2024-25 held at the Peddem sports complex, Mapusa, recently.
Irravva Mannaguli bagged silver medal in the U-17 girls 400m run showcasing exceptional speed, stamina and sportsmanship. Jason Pereira secured bronze medal in U -17 boys Pole Vault event.
These achievements reflect the hard work and dedication of the student-athletes and continuous guidance from Physical Education Teacher Richard Mascarenhas.
Manager Fr Ubaldo Fernandes and Headmistress Viliana Rodrigues strongly believe that sports and academics go hand in hand and help in the holistic development of the students.
