IPL has evolved to a point where 300 runs can be scored, says KKR batter Rinku Singh

Before the start of the IPL 2025 season, one prediction was made by almost everyone: “This time, a team will cross the 300-run mark.” Expectations were particularly high from Sunrisers Hyderabad. In their very first match of the season, Hyderabad showed their intentions by scoring 286 runs.
However, after that, SRH went downhill completely. Although they are trying to get back on track, things are still not going well for them. One of the main reasons behind their struggles is their failed attempts to target big scores, which have backfired badly. The team even struggled to score 150 runs in the matches that followed.

Still, many players playing in IPL believe that the 300-run mark could be within reach, and among them is Rinku Singh, who is slowly and steadily becoming a superstar for KKR — or perhaps already is.
Speaking to IPL broadcaster JioCinema, Rinku Singh said that IPL has evolved to a stage where even 300 runs are possible.
"Yes, we can do it. IPL has reached a stage where scoring 300 is possible. Last year, Punjab chased down 262 runs. This year, every team is very strong, and anyone can touch 300." Rinku said

KKR needs a boost in IPL 2025

Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders have not had a great season so far. They have played eight matches and managed to win only three. Currently, KKR are fighting hard to stay in the playoff race, sitting seventh in the IPL table.
