Mangeshi Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at the 7th Mangeshi All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at the VD & SV Wagle High School, here, on Friday.
In the U-11 girls final, top seed Anaya Shukla outclassed rival Shaurya Dessai 3-0 (11-5, 11-2, 11-6), asserting her dominance with consistent attacking play. The U-13 boys final saw Goa’s in-form youngster Ruhaan Shaikh cruise past Yug Prabhu 3-0 (11-7, 11-8, 11-8), combining pace and placement with controlled aggression.
In a thrilling U-13 girls final, third seed Tisha Shaikh staged a brilliant comeback from two games down to defeat Aarna Lotlikar 3-2 (6-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-5, 11-7), showcasing grit and tactical flair.
Chandan Caro, the top seed in U-15 boys and a national ranking gold medallist, was in sublime form as he powered past Ruhaan Shaikh 3-0 (11-4, 11-2, 12-10), maintaining his calm under pressure during a tight third game to seal the title.
Top seed Ishita Colaso capped off a dominant tournament run by clinching the U-15 girls crown with a convincing 3-0 victory over second seed Aarna Lotlikar (11-4, 11-8, 11-5), displaying excellent control and counter-play throughout.
