PANJIM: Ishaan Colaso and Ashank Dalvi stormed into the boys U-11 final, while Anaya Shukla and Aarna Walavalkar set up a mouth-watering clash in the girls U-11 final of the Priority Gaspar Dias Open All-Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025 powered by Priority Constructions and held under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association.
In the boys’ semi-finals held at club premises, Miramar, top seed Ishaan produced a flawless performance to blank Aarish Shaikh 3-0, while Ashank overcame spirited resistance from Shreysht Rane before sealing a 3-1 victory.
In the girls U-11 quarter-finals, Anaya Shukla proved too strong for Sanaz Shaikh with a 3-0 win, while Tvisha Kotkar dominated Khwahish Pillai 3-0. Claire George outplayed Megan Xavier 3-1, and Aarna Walavalkar upset second seed Shaurya Dessai 3-0 to complete the semi-final line-up.
In the last-four stage, Anaya maintained her unbeaten run with another commanding 3-0 triumph over Tvisha, while Aarna held her nerve to edge past Claire in a tense five-setter 3-2.
Meanwhile, in the girls U-13 quarter-finals, Aayushi Amonkar overcame Samaira Verlekar 3-1, Aarna Lotlikar defeated Inara D’Souza 3-1, Gianna George posted a strong 3-1 win over Tisha Shaikh and Sachi Dessai advanced with a clinical 3-0 victory over Kavyaa Khalap.
