PANJIM: Kare College, Vidya Prabodhini and PES Farmagudi registered emphatic wins on Day 2 of the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Women’s Football Championship 2025-26, highlighted by outstanding individual performances from Anaida Dias, Tanvi Khedekar and Divya Sartarkar.

At the University ground, Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao cruised to a 4-0 victory over Shree Mallikarjun and Shri Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona, with Anaida Dias netting all four goals (4th, 11th, 21st, 51st) to seal her best performer award.

In the second match, VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao blanked Dhempe College, Miramar 3-0 through strikes from Klancy Cruz (10th), Riya Gomes (26th) and Tamanna Shaikh (34th).

Vidya Prabodhini College, Porvorim were ruthless in their 7-0 demolition of PES’s Rajaram & Tarabai Bandekar College of Pharmacy, Farmagudi. Tanvi Khedekar bagged four goals (21st, 33rd, 43rd, 44th), Riya Folkar added a brace (16th, 23rd), while Rajlaxmi Arondekar (51st) completed the rout. Tanvi was named best performer.

At the Rosary ground, Carmel College, Nuvem and PG Goa University were handed walkovers against VM Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, and Goa College of Art, Altinho, respectively.

In the final fixture, PES’s Ravi S Naik College of Arts & Science, Farmagudi overpowered the Institute of Nursing Education, Bambolim 3-0, with Divya Sartarkar scoring a hat-trick (12th, 32nd, 39th) to clinch the best performer honour.
