Little Masters Clinch Chess Team Championship 2025 Title with Perfect Record

PANJIM: Little Masters under the captaincy of Jatin Subhash Gaude, team members Chinmay Gaude, Siaan Kerkar and Tansh Gaude won all the five games to secure 10 points and emerge champions in the Chess Team Championship 2025 organised by A-R Tuition Classes in association with Ponda Taluka Chess Association and Ajinkya Chess Academy, at the Shree Krishna Temple Hall, Curti-Ponda, recently.

The second place was won by Chess Champions - Aarush Gaude (captain), Nagesh Nayak, Aryan Naik and Kavish Gaude, while third place was bagged by Sairaj Anand Gaude (captain) Samarth Dhuri, Devansh Curtikar and Sai Gaude.

Board Prizes - Board No. 1: Nagesh Nayak (won all five games), Board No. 2: Jatin Gaude, Board No. 3: Siaan Kerkar, Board No 4: Purva Gaude (won all five games). Prizes were distributed in presence of chief guest Ponda Taluka Chess Association President Sagar Sakordekar, GVMS College Assistant Professor Dr Gautam Gaude, Shiroda Progressive Multipurpose Society Senior Manager Sanvi Kerkar, Directorate of Art and Culture official Pavan Naik, Prachi Pankar and Ponda Taluka Chess Association Executive Committee member Anand Kurtikar. Anand Kurtikar also compered.

Vrajesh Natekar, Manohar Gaude and Pratik Gaude worked as assistant arbiters.
