MURIDA-FATORDA: Loyola High School, Margao blanked Loyola High School, Pune 7-0 to emerge champions of the Loyola Platinum Cup, played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Murida-Fatorda on Saturday.  
Loyola HS, Pune had the first chance in the first minute when Aksahad Dadhoo was set on goal by their midfielder but the lad failed to convert his chance.
However, Loyola Margao didn’t wait too long before they opened their scoring in the 2nd minute through Flan Crasto. In the next minute, Cybern Fernandes scored for Margao School to make it 2-0.
The Margao School was up by three goals in the fifth minute as Flan scored his second and completed his hat-trick at the half hour mark.
Loyel Vaz also got on the score sheet for the winners before Flan completed his quadruple in the 43rd minute.
In the 49th minute, Rui Noronha scored the final goal for Loyola Margao in a one-sided affair.
Benaulim MLA and GFA President Churchill Alemao was the chief guest for the final and gave away prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of school officials and other dignitaries.
During his speech, Churchill encouraged the students to focus on studies and maintain balance between education and football. 
He emphasised that fitness and ball control are the key elements required for a successful football career.
