RAIA: Margao RCC won 93 medals in the 36th Goa State Sub Junior and Junior Aquatic Championship organised by the Goa Swimming Association held at the Ponda swimming pool complex, recently.
Reuben Rocha won the individual championship in Group IV boys and created three new meet records.
Nigel Mark Raposo, student of Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim, won seven medals in Group 1 - silver in 200m breaststroke, silver in 100m breaststroke, silver in 50m breaststroke, silver in 400m IM, silver in 4x100m medley relay, silver in 4x100m freestyle relay, silver in 4x200m freestyle relay.

Aarav Vaghela, student of The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal won seven medals in Group 1 - silver in 200m backstroke, bronze in 100m backstroke, bronze in 400m individual medley, bronze in 800m freestyle, silver in 4X100m freestyle relay, silver in 4x200m freestyle relay, silver in 4x100m medley relay.
Sachi Quiran Chari, student of Mahila and Nutan English High School, Margao, won seven medals in girls category Group 1 - bronze in 200m breaststroke, silver in 200m IM, silver in 800m freestyle, silver in 200m butterfly, silver in 4x100m freestyle relay, silver in 4x100m medley relay, silver in 4x200m freestyle relay.
Deep Naik Dessai, student of Mahila Nutan High School, Margao, won four medals in Group 2 - silver in 200m breaststroke, bronze in 200m IM, bronze in 50m backstroke and bronze in 100m breaststroke.
Siddhi Sudhir Talekar, student of Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School, Verna, won the six medals in Group 2 - gold in 800m freestyle, silver in 200m butterfly, bronze in100m breaststroke, silver in 4x100m medley relay, bronze in 4x100m freestyle relay, silver in 4x200m freestyle relay.
Aaradhya Thakare, student of Shree Damodar Vidhyalaya English High School, Comba, Margao, won three medals in girls’ category of Group 2 - silver in 4X200m freestyle relay, silver in 4x100m medley relay, bronze in 4x100m freestyle relay.
Neha Ravindra Deulker, student of Mahila and Nutan English High School won five medals in Group 2 - bronze in 400m IM, bronze in 200m butterfly, silver in 4x100m medley relay, silver in 4x200m freestyle relay, bronze in 4x100m freestyle relay. Kashish Baig, student of Fatima Convent High School, Margao, won four medals in Group 2 - silver in 50m butterfly, bronze in 100m butterfly, silver in 400m IM, bronze in 4X100m medley relay.
Disha Jagdale, student of The King’s School won bronze medal in 800m freestyle in Group 2.
Gargi Vibhav Shirwaikar, student of Manovikas English Medium School won five medals in Group 2 - gold in 200m IM, bronze in 200m backstroke, silver in 4×100m medley relay, bronze in 4×100m freestyle relay, silver in 4×200 freestyle relay. Raunav Lotlikar won bronze in 4×50m freestyle relay in Group 3.

Priyal Mishra, student of Presentation Convent High School, Ambaji, won two medals in Group 5 - silver in 4x50m freestyle, silver in 4x50m medley relay.
Nyla Valanka Raposo, student of St Francis Xavier High School, Macasana, Won two medals in Group V - gold in 4x50m freestyle relay, gold in 4x50m freestyle relay. Jatin Singh Kaira, student of St Anne’s Pre-Primary and Primary School, Fatorda, won five medals in Group V - bronze in 50m butterfly, bronze in 50m freestyle, bronze in the 100m IM, gold in 4x50m medley relay, gold in 4x50m freestyle relay.
Malhar Thakare, student of Less Angels Primary School, Fatorda, won three medals in Group 5 - gold in 4x100m freestyle relay, gold in 4x100m medley relay, bronze in 50m breaststroke.
Himank Kumar, student of The King’s School, won two medals - Gold in 4x100 m freestyle relay and gold in 4x100m medley relay.
The students are trained under Margao RCC coach Inacio Raposo at Fatorda swimming pool.
