RAIA: Margao Sports Club edged past United Club of Seraulim 6-5 via tie-breaker in the final to emerge champions in the 17th St Anthony Festival Cup organised by St Anthony Football Club, Assolda, at the Moll ground, Assolda, on Sunday.
Alfred Noronha opened the scoreline for Margao SC in the very 2nd minute of play, while Prosan Mandal of UC Seraulim equalised in the 36th minute. Both teams remained 1-1 draw at full time.
In the resulting tie-breaker Margao Sports Club proved to be the better shooters.
