Taleigao Plateau: MES Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar, won the Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Men’s Championship 2025-26 organised by the Goa University at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Goa University campus, here, recently.
This marks the MES's Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce third consecutive year of winning the championship.
Don Bosco College, Panjim, claimed the runners-up position and Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim, finished third. Best Taekwondo Player of the championship was awarded to Krish Ballikar from Shree Damodar College, Margao.
Chief guest for the presentation ceremony MES Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce Prof Manasvi Kamat, guest of honour College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa College of Agriculture, Old Goa Dr Sagar Palaconda, along with Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University Balachandra Jadar graced the occasion and presented the medals and trophies to the winners.
