RAIA: Hosts Peddem Bomm Sports Club edged out ABC Arambol, 1-0, in a hard-fought encounter to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Peddem Bomm Cup Inter-Village Football Tournament 2025, played at the Peddem ground, on Thursday.
The solitary goal of the match came in the 21st minute when Mohammad Faheez released a clever through ball to Samuel D’Souza, who made no mistake with a powerful strike that left the Arambol goalkeeper with no chance.
Despite a spirited second-half display from ABC Arambol, the Peddem Bomm defence stood firm to preserve their narrow advantage.
