PANJIM: In the round three of U-15 boys Diamond Division, Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, triumphed over The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal in the Next Gen League 3.0 -- an inter-school football and futsal league organised by The King’s Sports Academy at The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal.
Clydell Fernandes named the player-of-the-match. This victory sealed Perpetual Succour Convent High School’s position at the top of the table, crowning them U-15 boys Diamond Division Champions.
In the U-15 boys, Topaz Division round three, AIM High School, Davorlim, secured victory against Marina English High School, Verna, with Zeeshan Bepari earning the player-of-the-match honours. The result ensured AIM High School finished first in the standings, making them the U-15 boys Topaz Division champions.
The U-15 girls Diamond Division round three saw The King’s School claim a win over St Anne’s Institute, Agonda, thanks to a stellar performance from Aisha Fernandes. Meanwhile, in the U-17 boys Emerald semi-final, Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, edged past Rosary High School, Navelim, via tie-breaker, with Samuel Das taking the player-of-the-match award.
In the round 3 of the U-15 boys Sapphire Division, Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School, Verna, and St Pius X High School, Orlim, battled to a draw, with Aniket Kumar of St.Pius X High School impressing as the player-of-the-match.
This result confirmed Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School as the U-15 boys Sapphire Division champions, finishing at the top of the category table.
In round two of the U-15 girls Sapphire Division, Rosary High School, Navelim, defeated Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, with Valanka Dias earning the player-of-the-match award.
