RAIA: Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, downed Marina English High School, Verna, 2-0, via a tie-breaker after a goalless draw in the final to emerge champions of the 11th Sr Bernadine Memorial All-Goa 7-a-side U-17 Boys Inter-School Football Tournament organised by Perpetualites Past Pupils Assocation (PPPA) of Perpetual Succour Convent High School in memory of their former headmistress Sr Bernadine Mattos SFN at the Perpetual Succour Convent High School ground, recently.
Chief guest Quepem MLA and past Perpetualite Alton D’Costa, guest of honour Headmistress of Perpetual Succour Convent High School Sr Margarett Rodrigues, SFN, in the presence of special invitees family members of late Sr Bernadine Mattos SFN and former school teachers gave away the winners and runners-up cash prizes, trophies, medals and certificates.
Altogether 16 schools participated. Joint Secretary of Past Perpetualites Association Vanoshka Fernandes proposed a vote of thanks.
