RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem stormed into the final pipping Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, 1-0 in the Curtorim Villagers Cup 2025 organised by Curtorim Gymkhana at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Friday.
In an exciting semi-final match, Parish Youth Nuvem had their first chance to score when Albino Pereira shot was well saved by Don Bosco Oratory goalkeeper Glen Fernandes.
Soon, Don Bosco Oratory Alfred Noronha’s shot went over the crossbar. PY Nuvem scored first goal through Shenoy Colaco in the 20th minute from a spot kick when Don Bosco Oratory defender handle the ball in the penalty area.
In second half, DBO Fatorda missed a golden opportunity to level the score when Edgar Noronha missed an easy goal.
Don Bosco Oratory tried their best to equalise but Parish Youth Nuvem defenders defended well till the final whistle.
Parish Youth Nuvem will meet United Boys Ambaulim in the final on September 28.
