RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem stormed into the semi-finals defeating Navelim Sporting Club 2-1 in the Curtorim Villagers Cup 2025 organised by Curtorim Gymkhana at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
Navelim SC took the lead in the 25th minute with Ronaldo Pereira netting with a powerful strike. However, PY Nuvem responded quickly as Nicolau Colaco equalised just three minutes later with a fine placement. In the 30th minute, Shenoy Colaco scored the decisive goal to give PY Nuvem a 2-1 advantage before the break.
In the second half, Navelim SC pressed hard in search of an equaliser but Nicolau Colaco marshalled the PY Nuvem defence brilliantly to deny them until the final whistle. PY Nuvem will now face Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, in the semi-final.
