RAIA: Raia Sporting Club edge out Candolim Sports Club 3-1 to enter into the semi-finals of 52nd Custodio memorial football tournament organised by Raia Sporting Club at panchayat ground, Raia, on Sunday.
Garrison Fernandes opened the scoreline for Raia SC in the 22nd minutes, while Loyd Cardozo doubled the lead in the 25th minutes of play and remained 2-0 ahead at the half time.
After resumption of second half, Raia SC increased their tally through Oilex Oliveira in the 60th minute of play and Candolim SC pulled one goal back through Davinraj Pednekar in the 56th minute.
