If we go with the reports, then there is massive breaking coming from the BCCI table as Rajeev Shukla has assumed charge as interim president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India following Roger Binny’s decision to step down, according to NDTV. Binny, who had replaced Sourav Ganguly in 2022, was nearing the former age cap of 70 for sports administrators. However, the Parliament’s recently approved National Sports Bill now allows officials to continue until the age of 75. With Binny’s exit, Shukla will oversee BCCI’s affairs until a permanent president is elected.
