RAIA: CRC Chinchinim defeated Dicarpale SC 4-2 to storm into the quarter-finals of the Our Lady of Fatima Cup 2025, organised by Dicarpale SC, at the Dicarpale ground, on Wednesday.
Rowan Fernandes was the hero for Chinchinim, netting four goals. He struck in the 10th minute with a neat placement and doubled the lead three minutes later with a powerful drive. He completed his hat-trick in the 30th minute to put CRC firmly ahead.
Dicarpale hit back as Francisco Fernandes reduced the margin in the 34th minute before Piedade Colaco made it 2-3 seven minutes later. But Rowan had the final say, sealing the result with his fourth goal in the 50th minute.
Rowan Fernandes was named man-of-the-match and received his award from Tony Niasso.
