MARGAO: Top seeds Ruhaan Shaikh (1) and Yug Prabhu (2) set up a high-voltage clash in the U-13 boys final at the Ulhas Jewellers BPS All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, underway at the Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda.
Ruhaan breezed past Yuvaan Sanke 3-0 in the semi-finals, while Yug outclassed Ishaan Colaso with an identical scoreline. In the quarterfinals, Ruhaan defeated Kavish Dalvi 3-0, Yuvaan beat Ashank Dalvi 3-0, Ishaan edged Vedant Wagle 3-2, and Yug blanked Kaushi Nair 3-0 to book his spot in the last four.
In the U-15 girls category, top seed Ishita Colaco and second seed Aarna Lotlikar advanced to the finals after strong semi-final performances. Ishita swept past Samaira Verlekar 3-0, while Aarna overcame a spirited challenge from Anaya Srivastava to win 3-1. Meanwhile, in the U-13 girls draw, Aarna Lotlikar, Inara D’Souza, Kavyaa Khalap, Gianna George, Sachi Dessai, Samaira Verlekar, Tisha Shaikh, and Aayushi Amonkar have entered the quarterfinals with confident wins.
