MAPUSA: Sai Avtar SC, Anjuna, registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Holy Cross Sports Club, Arambol, in the Goa Football Association’s Division III Bardez Zone League match played at Siolim ground, on Monday. Esshan Lingudkar scored the all-important goal in the added time of the match for Sai Avtar SC.
At Assonora ground, Augustias Sporting Club managed to hold Sirsaim Sports and Cultural Club to a 4-4 draw.
