MAPUSA/RAIA: Sesa Football Academy had an easy outing as they trounced Penha de France SC by 6-1 margin in the Goa Football Association U-19 League match played at Sirsaim ground, on Sunday.
It was another big win for unbeaten Sesa FA as Pruthviraj Gosavi netted a hat-trick with Salman Khan (2) and Pradip Abeibam also adding their names to the scorer’s list.
Shavir Ahmed scored a consolation goal for Penha de France.
GFA DIV I: Cuncolim Union win; Mandopa SC, Candolim SC share spoils
Trialled by a goal, Cuncolim Union defeated Nuvem Sports Club 2-1 in the GFA Division I League match played at SAG ground, Benaulim, on Sunday. Shenoy Colaco gave the lead to Nuvem SC in the 18th minute of the match. In the second session, substitute Rutik Bandodkar scored a brace for Cuncolim Union in the 82nd & 83rd minute.
The match between Mandopa Sporting Club and Candolim SC at Rosary church ground, Navelim, ended in a goalless draw.
