RAIA: The 1st All-Goa inter-village football Mansion House Cup 2025 witnessed another thrilling clash on Monday evening as Sporting Club of Davorlim edged out Parish Youth Nuvem 4-1 in a penalty shootout to move into the quarter-finals after a goalless draw at the Cuncolim ground.

The match began with Parish Youth Nuvem’s Albino Pereira looking lively in attack. He tested the SC Davorlim defence in the very 7th minute, but his attempt was blocked by the goalkeeper. A minute later, his shot missed the target narrowly.

SC Davorlim gradually settled into rhythm and nearly broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute from a corner, but Parish Youth Nuvem’s backline held firm. Midfielder Senford Colaco tried his luck from a distance in the 25th minute, but his effort lacked precision.

The first half ended goalless, and the second half followed a similar pattern of missed chances. Albino continued to threaten with dangerous runs in the 35th and 36th minute, only to be denied by the keeper and then by a resolute defence. SC Davorlim responded through Nevil Mascarenhas, who penetrated the box in the 40th minute but failed to pull the trigger, while Clifton Rebello headed wide in the 44th minute.

Parish Youth Nuvem pushed late on through Joyton Rodrigues and Joywin Costa, but SC Davorlim’s keeper stood tall to force the tie into penalties.

In the shoot-out, SC Davorlim held their composure as Naklon Miranda, Aeren Figueiredo, William Nissao and Melehior Miranda all converted. For Parish Youth Nuvem, only Joywin Costa found the net.
