RAIA: Sporting Club Davorlim defeated Guardian Angel SC 5-4 via tie-breaker to move ahead in the Betalbatim Villagers Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club at Betalbatim Panchayat ground, on Monday.
Both the teams tied at 1-1 in the normal time. Jaison Dias gave lead to Guardian Angel SC in the 6th minute, while William Niasso equalised for SC Davorlim in the 25th minute of the match.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, William Niasso, Aeren Figueiredo, Ajay Raj and Milton Colaco scored for Sporting Club Davorlim, while Milroy Clemente, Fedrich Fernandes and Godwin Costa scored for Guardian Angel SC.
