RAIA: SFX Sports Club Camarcxett registered a resounding 3-0 win over Bhatti United Club, to progress to the next round in the inaugural match of the 2nd Caniza Peixoto memorial football tournament, organised by Black Arrow Boys Agxem Sports Club and played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.
Anslem Fernandes opened the scoring for SFX in the 12th minute with a neatly placed finish. Bhatti United almost drew level through Ralf Dias, whose powerful shot narrowly missed the target. SFX held a 1-0 advantage at the break.
On resumption, James Fernandes struck twice in quick succession, scoring in the 38th and 42nd minutes to seal the win.
