RAIA: FC Siolim marched into the final of the inaugural all Goa inter-village Mansion House Football Cup 2025 with a commanding 5-1 win over Rossman Cruz, Nagoa, in Tuesday’s semi-final at Cuncolim ground.
Siolim’s dominance was established in a blistering first-half display, netting four unanswered goals. Mayuresh Naik opened the scoring in the 12th minute, before Pushpraj Mandrekar doubled the lead on 26 minutes. Joel Fernandes made it 3-0 four minutes later and Gaurav Vaingankar’s header from a corner stretched the advantage to 4-0 by half-time.
Naik struck again in the 34th minute with a precise finish from the edge of the box to make it 5-0. Rossman Cruz pulled one back in the 38th minute through Rayson Calado, assisted by Ajay Satodkar and Roydon Rego, but further efforts from Rego were denied as Siolim comfortably held on.
Siolim striker Naik was adjudged man-of-the-match from Desmond Vaz, Treasurer of Rising Club Savorcotto.
