MAPUSA/RAIA: Snow’s Football Academy scored a solitary goal victory over Salcete FC in the Goa Football Association U-17 Division II League match to merge Salcete Taluka champions at the Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Monday.
Anslan Colaco scored the winning goal for Snow’s FA in the second session.
In another match played at Seraulim, USC Seraulim defeated Ave Maria Athletic Club by 2-0 goals. Aniket Kumar scored a brace for USC Seraulim.

Chapora Yuvak Sangh proved to be too good as they drubbed Santa Cruz Club Cavelossim by 7-0 margin in the Goa Football Association Division I League play-off played at Duler Stadium, here.
The highlight of the match was a brilliant hat-trick by Joaquim Carvalho who scored two goals from the penalty spot while the third goal with a neat placement. Rohan Pednekar scored by tapping the ball into the goal of a cross.
In the 45th and 45th +3rd minute Sankalp Kankonkar netted his brace.
Santa Cruz Club Cavelossim saw two of their players being sent off - Aryan Carvalho and Dravid Fernandes - for rough tackles.
Aryan Vaingankar scored on crossing ends for Chapora YS. In the next match at Vagator ground, St Anthony’s SC, Marna-Siolim, managed to register a hard-fought 1-0 win over Candolim SC.
The all-important goal for St Anthony’s SC was scored Nathan D’Souza in the 76th minute after getting hold of the ball and drilling it past the Candolim custodian, 1-0.

Candolim SC registered a 4-2 win via tie-breaker over Nerul SC to sail into the semi-finals of Peddem Bomm Cup 2025 organised by Peddem Bomm SC at Peddem Bomm ground, Anjuna, on Monday.
The match saw a see-saw battle for supremacy with both the goalkeepers coming to the rescue of their teams. Early in the match, Krupesh Bandodkar stopped a stiff grounder from Nerul SC’s Chetan.
At the other end, Ashley Fernandes saw his 35-yard shot being fisted out by Nerul SC’s Dayanand Madgaonkar.
In the closing minutes, Nerul SC had an opportunity to score but their forward fumbled in front of the goal. In the resultant tie-breaker, Candolim SC proved to be the better shooters. Earlier, Holiday Club, Arpora, edged past BAFF 7-6 via tie-breaker also to enter the semi-finals.

Fr Agnel YSC, Paroda, defeated Ambelim SC 2-1 to move ahead in the St Rock’s Super Soccer inter-village football tournament played at Majorda ground, on Monday.
Selvin Fernandes and Reagan Costa scored a goal each for Fr Agnel YSC, while Rozwin Fernandes reduced the margin for Ambelim SC.

In a thrilling semi-final, hosts Rebello Pandal, Maina, enter into the final of 18th All Goa Rebello Pandal football tournament defeating Dragon FC, Margao, 7-5 via tie-breaker in the semi-final match played at St Rita Church ground, Maina-Curtorim, on Monday
Wilson, Francisco and Cyril scored for Rebello Pandal, while Velito, Joel and Rayman netted for Dragon FC. Both teams remained 3-3 draw at full time. In the resultant tie-breaker, Rebello Pandal prove to be the better shooters to enter into the final.

PVC Association pipped Xetrapal Sports Club 1-0 to move into the quarter-finals of Nerul Cup 2025 organized by Nerul Sports Club at Nerul ground, on Monday. First half was a goalless draw. Both the teams showed good football but couldn't score.
In the second half, Varon Pereira took the lead for PVC Association through a free-kick. Xetrapal SC strikers tried hard to level up but PVC Association defenders were solid rock.

Betalbatim SC booked their place in the final of 27th Holy Cross inter-village football tournament played at Vodlemoll, Kakoda, with a 4-1 win over Navelim Sporting Club via a tie-breaker.
The match was tightly contested, with both teams displaying quality football and making several promising attempts to score. The defenders on both sides were sharp and quick to thwart any attacking threats, keeping the scoreboard unchanged throughout regular time.
With neither side able to break the deadlock, the match proceeded to a tie-breaker. Betalbatim SC showed greater composure and accuracy, converting four of their attempts through Ashley, Gladson, Dickson and Keith. Navelim SC managed to score only once, with Clinton finding the net.

Cup: Raia SC in final
Football fans were treated to a thrilling encounter at Poriot Grounds today, as
Raia Sporting Club booked their place in the final with a spirited 3-2 comeback victory over Dunes Sports Club in the first semi-final of Calangute Association Cup inter-village football tournament played at the Poriat ground, Calangute, on Monday.
The match kicked off with intensity and Dunes SC took an early lead, courtesy Omkar Shetgaokar’s goal in the 2nd minute of the first half.
Raia SC responded with grit and determination in the second half. Vellto Cruz converted a penalty in the 32nd minute to open Raia SC’s account.
Shetgaokar doubled the lead with another clinical finish in the 45th minute. The momentum continued with L Dias equalising in the 48th minute and Sheehan Fernandes netting the winner in the 55th minute.
Raia SC now awaits the winner of the second semi-final match between Assonora United and St Sebastian Sports Club, which will take place on May 8.

SC Davorlim netted a goal each through Prince Figuerido and Agnelo Colaco and for Parish youth Nuvem Niclau Colaco netted a goal.
