RAIA: St Anthony SC Assolda booked their place in the semi-finals of the 33rd Arlem Rolling Trophy inter-village football tournament with a commanding 3-1 victory over Carmona SC, at the Raia panchayat ground, on Thursday.
Sunny Fernandes put Assolda ahead as early as the 6th minute. Carmona's Yuri came close to equalising in the 10th minute but missed by a whisker. Sunny doubled the lead in the 47th minute, and Alreach Piexito added a third just three minutes later.
Carmona pulled one back through Edwin Afonso in the 56th minute, but it proved to be only a consolation.
Alreach Piexito was named man-of-the-match and received the award from Jerome Colaco.
