Next Gen League 3.0: St Anthony’s, King’s School, and Bethany Convent Shine in Inter-School Football

PANJIM: In Group C, round three of the U-15 boys division, St Anthony’s High School, Cuncolim, secured a confident win over St Anne’s Institute, Agonda, in the U-15 boys and girls, U-17 boys and girls categories of Next Gen League 3.0 - an inter-school football and futsal league organised by The King’s Sports Academy with The King’s School at The King’s School ground, Sao Jose de Areal, recently.

Krishna Sharma gave a match-winning performance to claim the player-of-the-match title.

In the U17 boys Group B, round two fixture, Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal, defeated Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna, with Astroy Costa’s contributions earning him the player-of-the-match award.

In Group B, round three of the U-15 girls category, The King’s School continued their strong campaign with a victory over Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna. Avika Shetty was named the player-of-the-match for her consistent performance.

Meanwhile, in Group A, round three, St Anne’s Institute, Agonda, earned a win over Rosary High School, Navelim, with Vandhana Velip impressing on the field and taking home the player-of-the-match award.

In Group D, round three of the U-15 boys category, St Jude’s High School, Betalbatim, recorded a win over Immaculate Conception High School, Paroda, with Badal Ram earning player-of-the-match honours for his dominant performance. Meanwhile, in Group C, round three, Our Lady of Succour High School, Verna, edged out Rosary High School, Navelim, thanks to a decisive display by Sonukumar Mukhiya, who was named player-of-the-match.

In Group A, round three, The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal, registered a win over Marina English High School, Verna, with Wendell Fernandes delivering a standout effort to take home the player-of-the-match award.

In the U-17 girls round four fixture, Rosary High School, Navelim, and Immaculate Conception High School, Paroda, played out a competitive draw. Eloisha Oliveira of Immaculate Conception was named player-of-the-match for her crucial role in securing the result.
