SAO JOSE DE AREAL: In round three of the Diamond Division, St Joseph’s Educational Institute, Chandor, and Our Lady of Succour High School, Verna, played out a tightly contested match that ended in a draw in the third edition Next Gen League 3.0 -- an inter-school football and futsal league organised by The King’s Sports Academy at The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal, on Thursday.

Chriselly Fernandes of St Joseph’s Educational Institute was named the player-of-the-match for his composed performance.

In round two of the Emerald Division, Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal, emerged victorious against St Jude’s High School, Betalbatim, with Shornal Dias leading from the front and earning the player-of-the-match award.

In the Sapphire Division round two, Fr Agnel Multipurpose High School, Verna, continued their winning run with a solid performance against Mount Mary’s High School, Chinchinim. Jovan Colaco delivered a standout performance to claim the player-of-the-match award.

Earlier, in round three of the Sapphire Division, Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal, secured a convincing win over Rosary High School, Navelim, with Angel Gama shining on the field and earning the player-of-the-match award for her impactful performance.

In round one of the Diamond Division, St Anne’s Institute, Agonda, opened their campaign with a strong victory against Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna. Gwyneth Fernandes was a standout performer and was named player-of-the-match for her impressive contribution.
