SAO JOSE DE AREAL: In round one of U-15 Boys Diamond Division, Our Lady of Succour High School, Verna, played out a closely contested draw against Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, in the Next Gen League 3.0 -- an Inter-School Football and Futsal League organised by The King’s Sports Academy along with The King’s School, at the The King’s School ground, Sao Jose de Areal, on Tuesday.
Mohammad Mirchi of Our Lady of Succour HS was awarded the player-of-the-match for his influential performance.
In the second Diamond Division fixture, St Joseph’s Educational Institute, Chandor, registered a win over The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal, with Trinsly Menezes once again putting in a commanding display to secure the player-of-the-match title.
Meanwhile, in round two of the U-15 Boys Topaz Division, Marina English High School, Verna, picked up a win against St Anne’s Institute, Agonda. Parth Desai stood out for Marina English High School and was recognised as player-of-the match.
