RAIA: St Rock YC, Majorda, outplayed Benfica YC, Vasco, 7-0 to enter the quarter-finals of Cavelossim Villagers UK Cup 2025 organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim, on Suinday.
St Rock YC took the lead in the very 5th minute when a curling corner kick taken by Ashley Rodrigues entered the net beating Bryan Soares in the goal.
Bevan scored a solo goal to put St Rock YC 2-0 up. St Rock YC pumped three more goals through the efforts of Ashley Rodrigues including conversion of a spot-kick when Benfica YC goalkeeper deliberately fouled Lany Vaz in the penalty box and was shown a straight red card by Referee Rosario. Oscar Rodrigues and Filbert Pereira added one goal each to complete the Benfica YC rout.
