RAIA: United Club Benaulim scrapped past Dados Boys 4-2 vie tie-breaker to enter into the semi-finals of St John de Baptist Trophy football tournament organised by Football Friends, Benaulim, at the St John de Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Monday.
After dominating the early play, United Club Benaulim took the lead in the 14th minute when Lyndon Diniz sent in a cross to Yohan Rodrigues to shot into the net. Crossing over, saw Dados Boys playing well with Samuel supplying the passes.
Dados Boys equalised in the 2nd minute before the final whistle when Nayden Dias scored from a Mark Fernandes’ cross.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Chrison, Rossly and Adan found the mark for United Club Benaulim, while Klyn Fernandes was the lone scorer for Dados Boys
