An absolute thriller took centre stage as Barcelona and Inter Milan played out a 3-3 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium.
Inter stunned the hosts early, racing to a 2-0 lead with goals from Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries. However, Barcelona, known for their big comebacks, responded with flair, as a brilliant solo effort from Lamine Yamal and an equaliser from Ferran Torres brought them level.
The drama continued in the second half, with Dumfries scoring again for Inter, only for Raphinha to fire home a powerful strike moments later to make it 3-3.
With the tie now perfectly balanced, all eyes are on the second leg at San Siro, which promises a high-stakes showdown. Barcelona showcased their attacking intent but were let down by defensive vulnerabilities and injury concerns, also the early departure of Jules Koundé. Meanwhile, Inter’s clinical finishing and strength on set pieces kept them firmly in the hunt for a place in the final.
