RAIA: Unjirim United outlasted Piedadigal FC 3-2 in a lively encounter to advance in the 5th Cumborda Sports Club Football Tournament at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.
Both sides squandered early openings before Floyd put Unjirim ahead in the 10th minute. Piedadigal levelled swiftly through Aliston in the 14th. Feriston then fired Piedadigal ahead in the 30th minute, but Sheldon restored parity for Unjirim at the 40th.
The decider came via Ryan, whose close-range strike gave Unjirim the advantage they held until the final whistle.
Fliezer Fernandes of Piedadigal FC was adjudged man-of-the-match for his outstanding performance.
