World Athletics Championships 2025 Rankings Out: Indian Athletes Secure Tokyo Berths

Nineteen Indian athletes have secured their places for the upcoming World Athletics Championships 2025, scheduled in Tokyo from September 13 to 21.

The final qualification list, released by World Athletics on Wednesday, includes Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, who enters with a wild card as the defending men’s javelin throw champion.

Several others booked their berths by meeting entry standards, while many made the cut through world rankings. The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) is expected to soon announce the final squad that will represent the country in the Japanese capital.
