MARGAO: While speaking on the recovery drive of the Margao Municipal Council, the Margao Congress Block questioned the reasons why the Council agenda for 3rd January meet, has not listed the matter of recovery of Rs 18 lakhs misappropriated by its staff and Rs 1 crore from various agencies or contractors. If the Council is seriously interested in recovery of it's revenue, than this amount should be targeted on top priority.
