SOUND POLLUTION: Notices sent to five Anjuna clubs

PORVORIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has issued Notices to five clubs against whom maximum complaints of violation had been received. They have also been directed to install sound monitoring systems. The Goa State Pollution Control Board will monitor the sound levels.
The next hearing in the sound pollution case has been fixed for September 4, according to Advocate General Devidas Pangam.
Three phone numbers have been circulated for public complaints on noise pollution. Those clubs without consent to operate will have to shut down.
