PANJIM: CM Pramod Sawant has announced that the Assembly Budget Session will start from February and the State Budget will be presented in March 2025. He also announced that Goa has achieved Rs 1423 crore revenue surplus and reduced the debt from 30% to 29%, while highlighting the fiscal improvements ahead of the upcoming budget session. The Chief Minister has also asked Government departments to explore new revenue sources, at a Pre-Budget Meeting held at the Secretariat, on Thursday. Sawant admitted that 24 departments had utilized only 30% of their budget.
