Voltas Beko launches new range of home appliances 

PANJIM: Voltas Limited and Arcelik entered into the Indian consumer durables market with launch of heir new brand Voltas Beko.

Arçelik is a leading player in home appliances industry and part of the Koç Group – Turkey’s largest industrial and services conglomerate.

The new company, Voltbek Home Appliances Private Limited ( Voltbek ), an equal partnership joint venture, has introduced a wide range of home appliances which include refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves and dishwashers.

Voltbek plans to launch over 100 SKUs over the next 3 months including 44 SKUs of refrigerators, 40 SKUs of washing machines, 12 SKUs of microwave and 7 SKUs of dishwashers. Voltas Beko has positioned itself as ‘Partners of Everyday Happiness’ with the consumer benefit of ‘Nutrition, Preservation for Refrigerators and Cleaning Efficiency for Washing Machines’. The brand aims to provide its consumers with state of the art innovative products leveraging Voltas’ brand & distribution strength coupled with Arçelik’s global expertise in product development. 

Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers IPO to open on Sept 24

PANJIM: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (the company), proposes to open on September 24, 2018, an initial public offering of equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each for cash at a price per equity share (including a Share Premium) comprising a offer for sale 2,92,10,760 equity shares by the promoter, the President of India, acting through the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. 

The offer includes a reservation of up to 5,72,760 equity shares for subscription by eligible employees (as defined herein). The offer less employee reservation portion is referred to as the net offer. The offer and the net offer will constitute 25.50% and 25.00% respectively, of the post offer paid-up equity share capital of the company. The bid/offer period will close on September 26, 2018.

A discount of Rs 5 per equity share to the offer price may be offered to the retail individual bidders and a discount of Rs 5 per equity share to the offer price may be offered to the eligible employees bidding in the employee reservation portion. The price band for the offer is from Rs 115 to Rs 118 per equity share. Bids can be made for a minimum lot of 120 equity shares and in multiples of 120 equity shares thereafter. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on BSE and NSE.
