I am pained and disturbed to hear the news of the miserable rape on one of the little daughters of this great country. I am a father of two little daughters, one five and the other six. As a father, I could understand the pain and suffering of the little innocent victim’s parents after the miserable incident which heavily shocked the entire world.

Do the culprits after committing such a horrible act have the right to live as humans? First of all, can a human commit such an act with an eight-year-old little girl? If yes, then do they have a right to live as humans? Should they not deserve a tortured death?

After such ugly incidents wherein even small, little children are not spared, we as parents live in fright. The independence of our little children has been severely affected and the sad part is few of our countrymen, who include some high level people agitated for the culprits. They even used our holy tricolour in support of people having no human qualities. Where we are heading to?

The so called big people of our country just run away from the law after being involved in massive scams. Our law hardly touches the sons and daughters of the people in power even after committing major crimes. Sorry to say that our law mostly troubles the common law abiding citizens. Does Goa still remember the rape on one of our 6-year-old daughter within the school premises in Vasco? Did the concerned authorities try to find the culprit or save the culprit? This daughter of ours will never ever forgive us because we never stood for her at her time of distress.

Our politicians are the biggest threat to our country. Does not matter which political party they belong, they are known licensed liars. They rape the country when in power. Take the case of Goa; they help to rape their own mother Goa for personal gains. Our fields, hills, rivers, springs, forest areas are being continuously raped on a daily basis and now own our children are being targeted and we are dancing to the tunes of our ministers in the name of Goem, Goenkar,Goenkarponn. If we don’t wake up now, we will neither be awake nor asleep.
