Cover garbage vehicles with tarpaulin while moving

In Ponda we notice regular movement of municipal vehicles carrying garbage from time to time. However, such vehicles are seldom covered with a tarpaulin or any alternate covering. Exposed garbage levies a foul smell for travellers and pedestrians proceeding along the concerned locations. 

At times the stench emerging from the accumulated garbage is unbearable and causes great inconvenience to public at large. The practice of parking one vehicle containing garbage at the turn near municipal garden in Ponda during the night is quite common. The existing garbage remains exposed thereby raising the difficulties of travellers and pedestrians proceeding along this strategic location. Crows are often noticed feasting on this garbage and it levies an ugly appearance to the passersby. 

At times, even stray dogs visit this place. Under such circumstances it would be appropriate for the municipal authorities to provide a tarpaulin to garbage vehicles compulsorily so that public at large are not put to inconvenience at any instance. Let us hope that the authorities would do the needful in public interest.
