Depression at Chicalim junction poses risk to road users

A deep depression is seen on the road at the Chicalim junction, which has been existing for several weeks. This is a busy junction with vehicles moving in and out of Vasco town. 

The vehicles going or coming from Dabolim Airport also pass through this junction. This depression has caused loose mud to scatter on the road as seen in the photo, which can prove extremely dangerous for the vehicles, especially the two-wheelers riders. 

For the vehicles moving from Vasco town to the Dabolim Airport, this happens to be a blind turn due to the traffic circle. The authorities concerned need to level the depression on the road as also tar the remaining part of the road on a war footing in order to prevent any accident taking place at the spot.
