Walking track on Curti-Ponda flyover has become hot spot for liquor parties

PONDA: The walking track on Curti-Ponda flyover has became a hot spot for the Youth, who are using it for group parties and drinking liquor during the night. 

Local Panch Rajesh Naik mentioned the need of police patrolling. 

“Several bottles are lying on this flyover by unknown people who are coming on this highway at night time which has become a hot spot for group parties, liquor consumption and illegal activities since during lockdown period,” he said.

The Ponda locals are demanding police action against the anti-social elements so as to prevent untoward incidence on the highway stretch.

Namdev Naik, a local said, “The concerned officials should take action to prevent the area from converting it into a liquor den.”
