Bag snatchers remanded to police custody

MARGAO, APRIL 4 The two persons who were arrested by the Cuncolim police in the German national's bag snatching case have been remanded to four days police custody. Cuncolim police said the two accused Denzil D'Souza and Kalpesh Shirodkar were produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class on Sunday and the court remanded the duo to four days police custody.

The two persons who were arrested by the Cuncolim police in the German national’s bag snatching case have been remanded to four days police custody.
Cuncolim police said the two accused Denzil D’Souza and Kalpesh Shirodkar were produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class on Sunday and the court remanded the duo to four days police custody.
The duo was arrested by the Cuncolim police on Saturday minutes after they allegedly snatched the bag from the German woman at Molorem near Cabo de Rama on Saturday. They were arrested at Panzorconne-Cuncolim on the NH-17 while trying to make their escape with the stolen bag. Further investigations are on.
