Mamlatdars told to video film places of worship

MARGAO, APRIL 6 The District Magistrate, South G P Naik on Tuesday issued directions to all the Taluka mamlatdars to video film all the places of worship located on public places, government acquired land and Communidade land in the district.

The District Magistrate, South G P Naik on Tuesday issued directions to all the Taluka mamlatdars to video film all the places of worship located on public places, government acquired land and Communidade land in the district.
The Mamlatdars were told to complete the exercise within a week’s time to the government for perusal and further inquiry.
The district Magistrate informed that the exercise is being carried out to be doubly sure that the religious structures indeed fall in public place and on government acquired and Communidade land.
In this connection, the Taluka mamlatdars would use the services of the PWD engineers to provide the exact details on land acquired by the department and the location of religious structures on the land.
