Two rescued from drowning at Cavelossim

MARGAO, APRIL 5 Two persons Justin Kurlin (24) and Aditya Amin (24) were rescued by the life guards at Cavelossim beach after they were pulled inside the water by strong currents. Information revealed that the duo had entered the waters in no swim zone at he Cavelossim beach on April 4 at 6 pm.

Information revealed that the duo had entered the waters in no swim zone at he Cavelossim beach on April 4 at 6 pm. As the underwater currents pulled the duo, who were in chest deep waters, they were noticed by lifeguard Devraj Pagi, who swam towards the victim with the rescue tube.
The life guard later secured both the victims with the rescue tube and brought them to the shore safely. The duo were released after their vitals were found satisfactory.
