An electricity transformer burst into flames near the Vasco KTC Bus Stand, sparking panic among nearby residents late Friday night. However, the quick action by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) team prevented the fire from escalating, saving properties estimated to be worth around 5 Lakhs.
The sudden outbreak of the fire, the cause of which is still unknown, occurred in the vicinity of the bustling Vasco KTC Bus Stand. Eyewitnesses reported thick smoke and intense flames emanating from the transformer, raising concerns among the local community.
