Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed a  public gathering in Sancoale, Goa. Reflecting on his roots, PM Modi emphasized the pivotal role Goa has played in shaping his destiny.

"Goa is where my journey began. It holds a special place in my heart, as it was here that the decision to appoint me as the Prime Ministerial candidate was made back in 2013. The emotional bond I share with Goa is profound," stated PM Modi, underscoring his deep connection with the state.

Asserting his commitment to the people of Goa, PM Modi dubbed the rally as "Vijay Sabha," promising his support to the citizens. He pledged to uphold the interests of Goans and ensure their prosperity.

Taking a swipe at the opposition, particularly the Congress party, PM Modi criticized their tendency to blame electronic voting machines (EVMs) for electoral losses. "Whenever Congress faces defeat, they resort to blaming EVMs. Even the Supreme Court has validated the credibility of EVMs. It's time for Congress to apologize for misleading the public," he remarked.

Remembering his late friend and former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, PM Modi expressed that Parrikar would have been elated to witness the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He hailed Parrikar's dedication to national interests and his role in the decision-making process.

Highlighting the ideological differences between the NDA and opposition factions, PM Modi portrayed the upcoming 2024 elections as a battle between two contrasting ideologies. "This election is a choice between the NDA, which prioritizes the welfare of citizens and national development, and the self-serving interests of other alliances," he stated emphatically.

In an announcement aimed at senior citizens, PM Modi guaranteed free medical treatment for individuals above 70 years of age, aiming to alleviate the financial burden on families and empower the youth.

Reflecting on the success of government programs in Goa, PM Modi praised the state's implementation of the "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" philosophy, which ensures equitable distribution of benefits to all sections of society.

With two phases of the Lok Sabha elections concluded, PM Modi expressed confidence in the feedback received from the ground level, interpreting it as a strong indication of "Phir Ek Bar Modi Sarkar".

The rally in Sancoale not only showcased PM Modi's support for Goa but also set the tone for the forthcoming electoral battle, with the Prime Minister rallying his supporters with his trademark charisma and conviction.
