Authorities at Dabolim airport in South Goa have heightened security measures following the reception of a bomb threat email on Monday morning. Airport director S V T Dhanamjaya Rao confirmed the receipt of the email, stating that while security has been intensified, flight operations remain unaffected.


Upon receiving the alarming communication, the Goa police were promptly informed, and a formal complaint was lodged by airport officials. The bomb disposal squad has been deployed to thoroughly search the area, ensuring the safety of all passengers and staff.


"We are not leaving any stone unturned. We are working as per the prescribed protocol," a police official affirmed, underlining the seriousness with which the situation is being handled.
